Spring Educational Program, April 2016

About the program

This Spring program is sponsored by the Minnesota Coalition of County Law Libraries and the Minnesota State Law Library.  Special thanks go to the Minnesota Association of Law Libraries for hosting our first ever online registration!

This year’s workshop will take place on Friday, April 22, from 10:00-3:00 at the

Plato Conference Room
Ramsey County Plato Building
90 Plato Blvd West
Saint Paul, Minnesota 55107

This year, you can learn about:

* Navigating the NEW Minnesota Judicial Branch webpage (finding those instructions and court forms) and a quick look at the new and revised Minnesota State Law Library webpage

* Making appropriate referrals and avoiding the unauthorized practice of law

* Protecting yourself and defusing the disruptive customer-have a plan!

* What is the Conciliation (small claims) Court experience really like?

There will also be an optional question and answer session at the end of the planned program. A panel of law librarians will be available to answer all of your lingering questions.
